Every carpet on the train is handcrafted in Yamagata Prefecture, each area featuring its own unique design: the observation cars draw inspiration from natural moss, the lounge reflects the gentle light filtering through trees (komorebi), and the guest suites are inspired by the sea. The room’s walls are adorned with rare Jōbōji lacquer panels from Iwate Prefecture, paired with a custom-made closet inspired by traditional Sendai chests.
