The JR Kansai Hiroshima Area Pass is a rail pass exclusive for foreign tourists, providing 5 consecutive days of unlimited train rides with reserved seats(up to 6 times) from Kansai to Hiroshima. It also includes JR West Miyajima Ferry ride to Miyajima Island.  The pass is applicable for reserved seats on Sanyo Shinkansen (between Shin-Osaka and Hiroshima), Hello Kitty Shinkansen, express trains(include Haruka, Kuroshio, Thunderbird, Kounotori and other more), special rapid services, rapid services, local trains on JR West conventional lines, JR West Miyajima Ferry and West Japan JR buses within the valid routes(exclude expressway buses). The pass is not applicable for Sanyo Shinkansen (between Hiroshima and Hakata), Tokaido Shinkansen (between Shin-Osaka and Tokyo), Kyushu Shinkansen (between Hakata and Kagoshima-Chuo) and the special rapid "A Seat" paid seating service.

Conditions

*No amendment or reissuance is allowed under any circumstance (loss, damages, name mistakes, date changes, etc...)

Cancellation charge
• A 20% of cancellation charge will be calculated from THB Selling Price if cancel. 
• Kindly be aware that you can purchase and issue an exchange voucher for JR Pass only 90 days in advance of the first use date.  

Tax Invoice
• Please inform JTB Staff if you require Tax Invoice within 5-7 working days from the purchasing date.  

Change name spelling
• Allow changing name spelling for all JR Pass EXCEPT JR East Pass
• A surcharge of THB 500 per ticket per time will be collected from the customer, please contact JTB staff for more information.
• JR East Pass is not allowed to change name spelling. The customer requires to cancel with a 20% charge and then re-purchase the new ticket.  

Ticket lost 
• JTB cannot re-print any exchange voucher at all. The customer requires to re-purchasing the new ticket only.    

Refund for unused exchange voucher
• Customers can contact JTB Staff for refund payment within 1 year after issuing the date of an exchange voucher.
• 20% refund fee will be deducted from the selling price.
• Customers must bring an exchange voucher together with a receipt for the refund procedure.

  • Eligible for foreign tourist entering in Japan as a "Temporay Visitor" for sight-seeing, and has a passport(issued by a foreign government) stamped with status under “Temporary Visitor”.
  • Please note that according to strict interpretation of the Japanese Immigration Law, “Temporary visitor” status differs even from other types of stays that are also for only short time periods.
  • Japanese passport holders can NOT use this pass. (May require to present passport and documents for verification purpose)
  • ONLY allowed for original Exchange Orders which have not activated are allowed for refund within 12 months from the issuance date. Exchange order is totally non-refundable once exchanged and used.
    The refund process will take approximately 2 months or more to be completed.

To exchange date of the pass, once the pass has been obtained, can no longer be changed.

Fukuchiyama Station Ticket Office, daily from 4:30AM to 10PM
Shin-Osaka Station, daily from 5:30AM to 11:30PM
Osaka Station, daily from 5:30AM to 11PM
Kansai Airport Station Ticket Office, daily from 5:30AM to 11PM
Sannomiya Station Tickets Office, daily from 5:30AM to 11PM
Nara Station Ticket Office, daily from 6:30AM to 10PM
Wakayama Station Ticket Office,5:30AM to 10PM
Okayama Station Ticket Office, daily from 5:30AM to 11PM
Hiroshima Station Ticket Office, daily from 5:30AM to 11PM

The pass is valid for :

  • Reserved seats on Bullet Train SANYO SHINKANSEN (between Shin-Osaka and Hiroshima) *Can be used for Hello Kitty Shinkansen as well.
  • Reserved seats on Express Trains HARUKA, KUROSHIO, THUNDERBIRD, KOUNOTORI, SUPER HAKUTO (between Kyoto and Kamigori), etc.
    *Separate fare is required for traveling on SUPER HAKUTO (between Kamigori and Tottori) and SUPER INABA (between Kamigori and Tottori).
  • Special Rapid Services, Rapid Services, and Local trains on JR-WEST Conventional lines.
  • JR West Miyajima Ferry (between Miyajimaguchi and Miyajima)
  • WEST JAPAN JR BUS route buses within the valid area (exclude expressway buses).

The pass is NOT valid for:

  • Bullet Train SANYO SHINKANSEN (between Hiroshima and Hakata)
  • Bullet Train TOKAIDO SHINKANSEN (between Shin-Osaka and Tokyo)
  • Bullet Train KYUSYU SHINKANSEN (between Hakata and Kagoshima-Chuo)
  • The Special Rapid "A Seat" paid seating Service
