Do the room rates include taxes and service fees?
This depends on the property. When making a booking, JTB will let you know whether any taxes or additional fees are not included in the online payment and need to be paid at arrival.
What do "Non-refundable" mean?
Canceling a non-refundable booking may result in a full charge of the booking. Please see the cancellation policy for more details.
Are the room rates per person or per room?
The rates are charged by room. However, any additional guests (including children) not confirmed in the booking may lead to extra charges. Please make sure to enter the correct number of guests when booking.
Can I add an extra bed/baby cot in my room?
It depends on hotel regulations. Please reach out to our customer support before booking.
Can I make a booking for a same-day check-in?

How do I make a booking on the JTB website?
- Log in to your JTB account or create one.
- Select the Hotels from the main menu, enter your destination and dates, and hit search.
- Choose a property and complete the booking
- You'll get a confirmation email within 30 minutes of booking
Where can I find the cancellation policy?
You can find a room’s cancellation policy near the room rate. To find out more details, go to the booking page. If you’ve already made your booking, you can find the detailed cancellation policy in the confirmation email. Please note that cancellation policies vary by property. Please check the property’s policies before booking.
Why did the room rate change when I was making the booking?
Before a payment is made, properties may change rates because of limited availability, pricing strategies, or promotions. We’ll notify you if the room rate has changed before you’ve completed the booking. Please note that the room rate cannot change after the payment is made.
How will I know if my booking is confirmed?
We’ll send a confirmation email with your booking details within 30 minutes after you’ve made the payment. If you can’t find the email, try checking your spam/junk folder. You can also check "My bookings" on the website.
Where can I check my booking details and status?
- Web Hover your mouse over your account name in the top right corner and select "My Bookings" from the drop-down menu.
- You can find your booking and check the status.
What if the property doesn't have a record of my booking?
All bookings made on JTB should be instantly confirmed with the property. If the property has no record of your booking, please contact JTB's customer service as soon as possible. You can find our contact number in the booking confirmation letter.
Can I change the names of a guest on my booking?
You can ask to change the name of check-in guests by contacting JTB’s customer service. Please note that the property may refuse check-in if the names used at booking do not match your travel documents.
Do I need the booking confirmation letter to check-in?
For a smooth check-in, we strongly recommend printing out the booking confirmation letter (find the PDF file in your confirmation email), or presenting the e-voucher at arrival.
What documents do I need to present at check-in?
This varies by property. Generally, you will need to present:
- Booking confirmation letter
- Passport/photo ID
- The payment credit card used to make the booking
What is the booking confirmation letter for?
This confirms your booking at the property, and you can use it to check-in. We'll attach it as a PDF file in your confirmation email.
When will I get my refund?
Refunds for payments made by card usually take 5-7 working days to be returned to your account but can take up to 30 days for certain banks. If your refund is taking longer than the times mentioned, please contact JTB’s customer service.
How can I cancel my booking?
You can cancel your booking through the JTB website. Sign in to your account, go to "My bookings" and cancel.
How can I make a special request?
When making your booking you can make special requests when entering your info, which will pass on to the property. Please note that any special requests are subject to availability, and may need to be confirmed with the property before or during check-in.
Can I check-in early or check-out late?
Please make arrangements with the property if you want to arrive before the scheduled check-in time or leave after the scheduled check-out time.
How can I change my booking?
Changes to bookings cannot be made on JTB without making a new booking. If you need to change your dates/property, etc., you’ll need to cancel the booking and make a new one. Please check the property’s cancellation policy before canceling.
How can I extend/shorten my booking?
For extending your stay, please make a new booking for the new dates that you want to extend to. Properties may be able to extend your stay in the same room but this can't be guaranteed. If you want to shorten your stay, you'll need to cancel the booking and make a new one. Please check the property’s cancellation policy before canceling.
The property has no rooms left at check-in for my confirmed booking. What should I do?
Please contact JTB's customer service, available 9:00 am - 06:00 pm (GMT+8). You can find the contact number on the voucher and booking confirmation letter. If you're checking in outside of our customer service operating hours, please first check the booking confirmation letter to find out the emergency contact number.
Payment
Is my payment secure?
JTB uses third-party secure payment gateways to process your payment. If you choose to save your card information, your payment card details are tokenized, encrypted and stored securely within our payment gateways.
Will I be charged an international transaction fee when booking?
JTB does not charge any additional handling fees for booking an activity.
How come my booking is unsuccessful even though my payment went through?
- JTB will send you an email explaining the issue and how it can be resolved.
- If you did not get this email, please check with your bank/card provider/payment provider to see the status of the transaction.
What currencies does JTB accept?
JTB accepts payments in THB only.
What payment methods can I use?
You can pay by credit/debit card (VISA, MasterCard, JCB, and Union Pay).
Can I pay by cash?
Sorry, because JTB is an online platform we cannot accept cash payments.

How come my payment failed?
- First, refresh the booking page and try to book again.
- If your payment card is rejected, please try a different card. JTB accepts VISA, MasterCard, and Union Pay.

Refund
How come I still haven't received my refund?
- Refunds for payments made by card usually take 5-7 working days to be returned to your account but can take up to 30 days for certain banks.
- JTB Thailand will deduct 3 % of the product selling price as a refund handling charge.
- The refund amount will also deduct a cancellation fee or no-show charge (if any).
How can I cancel my booking and get a refund?
This depends on your activity's cancellation policy.
What should I do if my flight has been canceled or delayed?
This depends on the activity booked. For activities with no charge cancellation, you can cancel the booking yourself until the specified time listed in the cancellation policy.
What should I do if my activity is canceled due to poor weather or unforeseen circumstances?
- If the operator cancels your booked activity, your booking will be canceled and you will be refunded.
- If your booking is not canceled by the operator, please contact us using to apply for a refund.
What should I do if a traffic accident or other unforeseen circumstances stop me from taking part in my booked activity?
If you are prevented from taking part in your activity because of a traffic accident or other unforeseeable events, please contact JTB customer support as soon as possible.
